Realized through the collaboration of three concept-oriented brands— VCR, Futra, and WOAH— Double Vision synthesized current talents in design, visual art, and music. A day to night showcase celebrating the continuous change in creative expression, we put a new spin on the typical ‘pop-up’ by uniting an eclectic roster of designers, curators, makers, and seekers in a repurposed brewery.
Located in the heart of the Arts District in downtown Los Angeles, Angel City Brewery’s 27,000 sq ft. lower tier served as a marketplace and art house by day—with over 20 vendors from our city’s sprawl of unique connoisseurs and tastemakers. By night, the space transformed into a boutique nightclub. Turning the space into a runway, Galerie De L’Absurde—an ‘anti-fashion show’— presented the wearable artistry of collections from Daniel Brent Nieto, Kittinhawk, MARCELLA DVSI, Omega Collektiv, and Factorylook. Throughout the mix, Futra focused attention to the dance floor with seasoned resident and guest DJ’s.
