Last-look: Papercut

Papercut. With seamless edges and a pristine neutral palette cut with flashes of rich blues and peaches, the acrylic on linen works glide into space like paper planes. Hovering low, hung just above the floor’s horizon, each piece’s contours extend immaculate matte folds into air— propelling painting into an archival frame for dissecting optical phenomena: where matter, movement, and friction are captured and frozen in perfect nuance. Closing this Saturday, July 18th at CES Gallery (DTLA). Open Wednesday–Saturday 12–6pm. All photos © CES Gallery. View available works here.
