Uncontrollable A/V: Towards a New Live-Score Aesthetic
AUDIODROME infiltrates the iconic site of a former Silent Movie Theatre with it’s series debut Vol. 1: Terminal Vortex tomorrow at The Cinefamily. Just as video— and music alike— have entered a new development stage with an inclination towards the digital environment, the concept of the live-score event enters a realm of audiovisual cacophony and multiplicity where performer and audience collide to create a total viewing experience. Showcasing live audiovisual performances and experimental video art premieres, the residency kicks-off playing dual-host as the official record release party for audio-glitch connoisseur and celebrated infuser Kid 606.
